Dear all,

I'm pleased to share the following updates and new features on the website some of which you might be already familiar with.

 

1. Search operators: Some Boolean search operators are now available (AND, OR, NOT e.g. "covert action" NOT British). You can search using double quotes (e.g. "intelligence failure"). Please note that search with parentheses is not available. Check 'Search guide' on the main page.
2. Share and link the search result: You can now share a link of your search result (e.g.  https://intelligence.streamlit.app/?search_in=Title&query=cia+OR+mi6).
3. Share and link sub-collections: You can link to a sub-collection under the main collection. For example, the 'WW1 (First World War)' is a sub-collection under 'Intelligence history' main collection. Previously, users needed to select the option from the main collection page to see the sub-collection. Now, you can go to or share the sub-collection page (e.g. https://intelligence.streamlit.app/Intelligence_history?collection_id=BNPYHVD4).
4. New sub-collection: Intelligence and Law sub-collection is now available.
5. Global intelligence collection updated: The Global intelligence collection has been updated. You can now share a link of the selected country (e.g. Belgium).
6. More metrics: You can now see more metrics under a new button which gives you information about the citation count, open access coverage, the number of publication types and authors, and author/publication ratio. The 'More metrics' button is available at each collection's page.
