Dear all,
I hope this email finds you well. It has been a few months since my last update. So, apologies for the long silence. IntelArchive is a solo project that I maintain alongside my professional and personal commitments, and keeping up with regular communications has not always been possible.
Since the absence of my updates, the IntelArchive library has continued to grow and reached 8,667 items. However, this was not the only update. Behind the scenes, I have been quietly working on a significant upgrade of the IntelArchive website.
Here is what is new:
- Author profiles: Each author now has a dedicated profile page showing all their publications, metrics, and a list of authors working on similar subjects. Simply click any author name to access their profile.
- Collection profiles: Collections now have standalone pages on the home page too. However, you can continue to access collections from the sidebar menu.
- Individual publication pages: Each publication now has its own record with full metadata, abstract, citation format, external links, and similar publications. Click 'IntelArchive details' on any item to access it.
- Shareable links: Almost everything in IntelArchive now has a permanent, shareable URL. You can share a specific author, publication, type, or search result directly with anyone.
- Improved keyword search: The keyword search now supports boolean operators, allowing you to combine terms using AND, OR, NOT, and proximity searches.
- Generate report: Most search views now include a 'Generate report' toggle that produces visuals for the selected or searched results. You will also have a unique link for report pages.
- Weekly digest (FINALLY): Perhaps the most important update is the weekly digest. IntelArchive now sends a weekly email digest listing new additions to the database. You are already subscribed to this list, so you will receive it automatically every week as long as there are new additions in the last week.
As always, if you have any suggestions, questions, or items to recommend for inclusion, please do not hesitate to get in touch or post in the group.
Best wishes,
Yusuf
