[ASK]How to overclock X3100 Chipset Graphics

I have found information about X3100 clockspeed in

I have an ACER 2920z
Chipset : GL960
Proc. : Intel pentium dual core 1.86GHZ
RAM : 2.5GB

As in above information, GL960 only using 400Mhz speed insteas in
GM965 has 500Mhz speed.

How to overclock into 500Mhz or maybe in next driver can overclock
it...

Thx to reply. But, I found GMA Booster for GMA 950 that overclock to
400Mhz.
And in official Website, The GMA X3100 still not avaible.
Hope that comming soon as possible.

If i upgrade proc to C2Duo T9300 (2.5GHZ) that can inprove a FPS ?????

oh yes it will improve the performance, but more important than
spending 150-200 USD in a new porcessor is getting a video card (and
wondering if you have a desktop cause changing processor or video card
in laptops is in theory not an option)you should get an xbox 360
arcade Jasper and youll be fine

if you upgrade cpu, you will notice a difference.

I upgraded from T5500 to t8100 with x3100- smoother and faster fps.

Advising people to get an xbox? Oh MAD, how could you? I'm not sure he
can even upgrade to that cpu, but he would have a machine capable of
doing plenty other things, not just gaming.

And yes, it would be a very different machine, going from a cpu that's
almost a core 2 duo, to a proper full blown core 2 duo, with all the
techs and perks it brings.

i mean paying 150-200USD for 5 -10 FPS more? get a 360 with Jasper
motherbard they will never get RROD, i also have a x3100 with a C2D
2.0ghz and it cant run much i dont use it cause its 14 inches just for
backup.

Make no mistakes, there is NO T9300 that comes with a x3100, they
always come with 4500mhd. Even though I don't really believe in any of
the current "next gen" consoles, even that would be better than using
anything made by acer. Much better would be to sell that thing and get
anything with at least a c2d P8600 or T9300, with anything that
resembles discreet graphics, even if low end.

true sell your machine and instead of upgrading a cpu add it to the
budget and get another one, if you wonder why i didnt sell mine... i
would say that i love this machine, and probably we woulndt be here

Very true :) I've grown to love this little intel igp pos laptop, yet
it brought me a lot of joy and taught me quite a bit. There was a
topic recently about a member getting a new laptop, there is some
interesting info there.

xbox360 is supposed to last at least another 3+ years (2014, based on statements by Sony and MS on Move and Kinect).

I like the new dashboard update, it seems more... responsive than the old one.

 

The GMA Booster guy already stated (somewhere) he isn't working on another one for any other GPU, since it's impossible to do without such a laptop/desktop in his hands. (or something like that).

Going for a T9300 will improve fps, not a world of difference though.
Saving that money with a bit more and getting a new (can also be used)
laptop WILL make a difference.
