You can download it here http://downloadmirror.intel.com/16830/eng/GFX_Vista32_15.11.1.1545_PV_Intel.exe

You already know how to mod the inf file

My 2 pesos:

I'm currently on 7.15.10.1518 - the drivers that were originally moded
by RABBIT.

I find them to be the most compatible of the moded drivers - at least
they run Jedi Academy (as an example of OpenGL app) and COD2 (as an
example of application that wasn't working with original GMA 950
drivers).

If you are upset with frequent driver changes and new mods and so on
just stay with 1518

15.11.1 is Vista and DirectX 11.1, if this was modded it'd try and
enable DirectX 11.1

Well I wouldn't go that far - I've seen the explenation of driver
enumeration somewhere but I don't remember where.

So...

To my surprise I can run JA and COD2 with this driver! Additionally
you may try a new way of changing values in the inf file.

First thing - make shure your Vendor ID is 27A2 (if you have 945
express im pretty shure it is 27A2 but you can check it by
rightclicking on desktop and going to the intel graphics control panel
- or clicking on the tray icon for it. Then click on the small "i"
next to the cross that would normally close the panel. A new window
will pop up where you can read your vendor ID)

Download the new driver, extract it, go to Graphics folder and find
igdlh.inf (you propably know the procedure by hear now :))) Open the
inf file and find lines:

%iBWGC0% = i965G0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29A2
%iBWGC1% = i965G1, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29A3

replace the 3rd digit form the end (9) with "7"

You will get

%iBWGC0% = i965G0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27A2
%iBWGC1% = i965G1, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27A3

Save the file and close it.

DON'T RUNS SETUP.EXE YET!

NOW - UNINSTALL THE OLD DRIVER! (Control Panel --> Program and
functions) When I've installed the new driver without uninstalling the
old one i got BSODS when runing COD2.

After reboot install the new driver with setup.exe

Reboot again.

Don't go jumping around the room - ITS NOT A 945 --> 965 MOD just the
discription is new.

The downside of this modifcation is that dxdiag says DDI version is 9
not 10

You can try replacing other vendor IDs with 27A2 and it might/should/
will work (I've tried it befor even with G45), it might even change
DDI to 10 - I know I'm not going to experiment - I don't need DX10
anyway and the settings I just gave you work for me perfectly.

If they don't - uninstall the driver and go back to 1518.

Goodnight

hello my friend juice; i want know what's the new modifications that
gives this driver?
and can you moded it for intel 950?or post the inf. file moded to test
it?

Well oti I think that you can read the changelog to know what changes
have been made - It won't matter because they are for 965 and up and
we can't verify which affect 950.

For me JA, Q4 run fine (by fine I mean they didn't start at all with
previous drivers).

As for "modding" - you just have to download the driver and change two
digits! From 9 to 7 - can't be that complicated... if it is I'm sure
someone will prepare a file that works for everybody if my solution
will not.

If you are upset with frequent driver changes and new mods and so on
just stay with 1518 - Juice have said that.

Thanks.

Now I see this is the driver for desktop (I have a notebook so my
chipset is gm965 express).

Thanks again

It doesn't metter!

This the section of inf file from 1545

%iCRGD0% = i965GM0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A02
%iCRGD1% = i965GM1, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A03
%iCRGE0% = i965GM0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A12
%iCRGE1% = i965GM1, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A13

Do you see the i965GM entry!

It should install just fine without any mods.

Did you get my e-mail BTW?

How does this driver compare to the 7.15.10.1537 mod?
anyone tested it out yet?

Well let me see...

I'm reading from the top of this discussion:

Someone called "JuiCe" said JA is working for him now - and it wasn't.

reading reading - look - that "JuiCe" guy again - says Q4 is working
now - and it wasn't - sounds optimistic

page down page down - hey - I knew it was to good to be true - oti
says "no new modifications that gives
this driver" but wait a minute didn't JuiCe say that some guys are
working for him now? I don't get it - what gives? ;))

ndue_lee - said smth... let me just read it.... well i think he has
installed it, and he has written his post so... I guess his PSU didn't
blow up - that might be considered as a "plus"

Hmmm I'm still not sure... did anyone test it at all or not. What do
You think Watson?

;)

thats not really what I meant...some of the posters in this thread
confused me, so...thanks for the sarcastic interpratation. I guess
I'll try it out
wonder when intel will release an official one for 945....

I don't think they ever will. They have to concetrate on G45 (AMD is
pushing them here with Blue-Ray playback) and future chipsets.

then i uninstalled the present drivers and rebooted and started the

Since your dev id ist different just modify my inf file - in place
where I have 27a2 input your device id.
