Thats good to hear! I have the exact graphics as you (g33/g31) but i
seem to crash and get blue screen sometimes whenever i try to build
something such as the wizards tower.

Crysis 2 is far from working.... the first patch for Crysis 2 does little to nothing even.

Imagine a console port worse then GTA IV, you'll have Crysis 2

To make matters even better, pirated copies of the game can bypass the flaky DRM (if you overclock, you have to reauthencate your copy of Cry2, what bs is that), and get on multiplayer for free. I have no problem with this, but the people that paid $60 for this fail game may think otherwise >.<

Hopefully the rumored patch tomorrow enables graphics options though.

The example picture is from the PC copy of Crysis 2 btw.

I remember when the demo had http://www.crunchgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/crysis2demo.jpg even (the actual demo not the beta leak).

Crysis 2 also has forced-enabled AA (can't be turned off on multiplayer) and dynamic shadows, so I question most Intel IGP's being able to run this, in particular the 950GMA and x3100.

Also the forced motion (excessive) motion blur on tends to give people motion sickness and headaches, not sure why this is even on but I guess it makes it look cool on consoles or something.

Opel, did you try out the lightning settings or is the flicker problem actually a texture problem which is solved by setting the texture to medium?

the texture thing to medium is not the solution as i have just founded
out, the lightning settings will only make the fps go lower not much
though but u will notice the drop in fps when these settings are
increased but i must repeat it does not make any difference to the
flickering, that depends on the driver u are using, i founded out that
sherry driver 1.2 solves this, alpha might work.
