FRIENDS THESE ARE SOME OF THE EMULATORS THAT WORK FINE ON INTEL

1.DOLPHIN-WORKS FINE FOR GAME CUBE GAMES AND FOR SOME WII GAMES.

2.PCSX2 -THE LATEST VERSION 0.9.7 AND THE LATEST GSDX PLUG IN VERY
MUCH GAMES ARE NOW PLAYABLE.

3.DESEMU,NO$GBA-WORKS FINE FOR NINTENDO DS GAMES.THESE GAMES ARE 2D
GAMES AND LACKS GRAPHICS BUT ARE NICE

4.JPCSP-JAVA BASED PSP EMULATOR I HAVE TRIED FEW GAMES ON IT BUT THIS
RUNS THEM AT A VERY LOW FPS.AND ALSO YOU NEED TO DECRYPT GAMES FROM
ORIGINAL PSP.

5.CHANKAST-BEST EMULATOR FOR DREAM CAST AND RUNS ALMOST ALL GAMES AT
FINE SPEED.GRAPHICS ARE MUCH BETTER THAN PS1.

6.PCSX-PLAYSTATION 1 EMULATOR AND RUNS ALL GAMES WITH FINE SPEED .

First DON'T WRITE IN CAPS! Second, state your specs correctly, like
the model of the cpu, 945 is the chipset while gma 950 is the gpu,
amount of ram, etc.
And chankast is a discontinued dc emu, nulldc is compatible with more
games.

It would be helpful to everybody else if you also posted your settings
for the emulators as well as their plugins.

Also, it might just be me, but I get better performance using ePSXe
instead of PCSX for PSX games.

My specs:
DELL Inspiron 6400 (laptop)
945GM (GMA 950)
Core 2 (centrino duo) T5300 (1.73GHz)
2GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate
9xxssf alpha1 drivers

And for NO$GBA, remember to use NO$Zoomer as well, just browse the
forums at ngemu.com for additional help.

Haven't noticed PCSX, yes ePSXe is faster. I posted recommended
setting for that emu. Even though I use NO$GBA with NO$Zoomer, I still
have low fps. Care to give any tip about that?

umm.... well i don't listen to the sound while playing games, so i
just set Sound Mode to Digital Mono and Sample Rate to Low; make sure
you set the Video Output to 15bit color (at 24bit color, you get a
massive performance hit)
well there really aren't anymore tips i can give, except to try
setting everything to low, then increasing them one by one until you
get your desired balance of performance and quality

hmmm and for some odd reason, i'm suddenly getting low frame rates in
no$gba/no$zoomer. but increased rates in portal... strange...

Oh but the sound is important to me, so that's not an option. One
thing I don't know though is the original color depth of the gba, and
if there might be a too noticeable difference, besides the obvious
banding.

And that explanation of low fps on the emu but higher on portal
explains nothing as you don't state your specs, drivers, etc.

no$gba plays some games like metal slug x ,contra etc at fine speed
with full graphics support for games like ninja gaiden, assasins creed
at good speed but dont support full graphics while using no$gba always
check the compatibility list

ive listed my specs in the 3rd post down ;)

well i've just checked all my DS roms again, and the low frame rates
have only started appearing in kingdom hearts 358/2 days, ff4, ff3 and
the 2 zelda games.
oddly enough, pokemon pearl, diamond and scribblenauts have started
performing better. maybe its time to reset settings >.<
and now i've started testing DeSmuME. seems to be performing games
better.

i think i'm going to stay away from PCSX2 for now, it uses way too
much CPU time for my liking

PLUS: augmenting the first post in this thread, Project64 1.6 performs
quite well for N64 games. Use Jabo's DX8 1.6 plugin, leave all gfx
options at default, but change the fullscreen res to your desktop
resolution, and select triple buffer vsync under Full Screen Sync.
It's a good idea to stick to Jabo's plugins for this emu. Some games
might need another gfx plugin though (Mudlord's Rice Video plugin).

ok, i just read some tips here:
http://forums.ngemu.com/no-gba-discussion/136220-kingdom-hearts-358-2-issues-halp.html#post1871798

seems i had a few EX selected. Deselect all of them and get a major
performance boost! (Other > EXTRA > Deselect All Ex) NO$ZOOMER 2.3.0.2
only

From the little time I've played with Project64, I can agree it works
on all games I tested with good performance. There was only an
occasional crash related to the sound plugin, but at the time I didn't
know about those Jabo plugins.
