Any GMA booster for Intel 965G

Does anyone know about any GMA booster like software for Intel 965G
motherboard?
Because games like Mirror's Edge lag even at the lowest settings.

i give u the advise buy yourself a sp3 and play mirror`s edge there,
it even lags on highend pc with a Nvidia 280GTX, so it will never run
on an Intel GMA 965...maybe you can change some config-entries and set
it to 640x480 and start it with 3da.

mirrors edge is a highly GPU intensive game, it works perfectly on a
GTX 280 (crush are you an idiot lol?) but you need to first do a lot
of crap, it might run on the gma 950, but ull need some config hacks,
dll hacks, and to delete as much stuff as you need on your HD, like
doing a lot of defrag your harddrive a few times. Oh and i said it
might RUN, u might get about 1-10 fps or 20 fps looking at the sky.

i diddn´t say that mirror´s edge doesnt on an nvidia 280 but it doesn
´t run perfectly, because there are always tiny micro lags because of
the physic engine that work in the background, ..don´t call me an
idiot i sure i know more about the gma and cpu and any other pc
stuff...

ps: wasn´t it you who lied about a modded driver which run cod4
playable....o.O

Hey I asked something and I get answer something!

I'm playin Mirror's Edge now on intel 965G on my lappy. It doesn't lag
that much normally, but when the police ppl start chasing, then the
framerates drop heavily.
Or any config changes any one knows how to remove those shadows, bloom
effects and dynamic lighting. I hav tried to edit the config file, but
no change in the game. The shadows r showing, the lights r very bright
and distortion effects r remaining. Plz advice!

btw there is a way to increase the performance of the X3100 - 965
you just have to MODIFY the original driver as we do with the 945....
change it to 512MB all of them

There is no legit GMABooster for the 965, however you might be able to
use another overclock program. Meh you could even email the maker of
GMABooster and see if he'll make it compatible somehow (although I'm
sure he would of already if it was that easy so idk)

No, there is no "booster" for the intel 965 chipset.., try

For your second question "does Intel 965G have X3100"...No, the
numbers 965 or 945 are only the model-code for the chipset not for the
GPU. The Chipset Intel G965 has the GPU called X3000, it has pixel and
vertex shader 3.0 runs @ a clockspeed of 667 MHz and has 384 MB max.
VRAM. Only the mobile version of the G965 chipset, the GM965 has the
X3100 GPU which has pixel and vertex shader 4.0 runs @ 500 Mhz.

Overclocking or "boosting" (what ever that mean) wouldn´t be healthy
for you pc or laptop and i think you loose your warranty...

think to put all that on the 950GMA :p

And yea overclocking isn't healthy :p Could cause chaos especially if
you have a poor cooling system such as that inside laptops (mine is a
heat pipe that is on the GPU and CPU leads to a small fan so....thats
a perfect example of overclocking chaos :p)

graphics accelerator... i dont know about the others but most of the
965 that i know got a x3100 for graphics accel... sorry dont know how
965s work im Ostereich...

Thankx for the reply. I hav the mobile version of Intel965G, and it
has x3100.
I hav 4 years warranty and there's no problem for me.
So plz advise any method or software to increase my gaming performance
in new games like Prince of Persia 4 , Mirror's Edge and Gears of War,
etc..
Whats the use of having Pixel Shader 4.0, if we cant run games having
pixel shader 3.0 support well.

Plz advise me methods to overclock my Mobile Intel965G x3100 chip, so
that I can increase the FPS in games like Prince of Persia 4, and
Gears of war.
My laptop config is, Intel Core2Duo 2.4GHZ 2gb RAM, iNTEL X3100.

I just watched a video on how to mod the Intel945 drivers in vista. So
what does this mod enable in 945? Does it add Hardware Tnl , or allow
pixel shader 3.0 ?
