Can't Capture Video

I have Win98SE and have tried everything to get video capture working. I
downloaded VIDCAP32.EXE from MS and have tried three different hardware
solutions from Dazzle including USB, Fiire Card and even serial port units.
It appears as though there is some type of conflict but cant find it. When
vidcap32 is booting I get the error "...video cature unit is in use...
etc...". I have a SoundBlaster Gold card and feel it might have something
to do with that?
