Why Lanschool doesn't work???

This message follows Sylvain Paquet's message a few weeks ago. There's still a problem. The computers "freeze" (blue screen) with Lanschool 5.

In our lab, Lanschool works on 9 Pentium II 266 but not on 24 new Pentium III 450.

I can install the software on the netware and computers.

The computers freeze as soon as windows 98 launches these softwares : lswstudent.exe and/or lswteacher.exe on the desktop.

Solution:
These patches (5.01 and 5.02) don't work.

Here are some components :
P3 450
64 Mb RAM
video card MATROX G200 Millenium AGP
Windows 98 ver. B

It's suprising that StartBroadcast worked once but not twice (i don't know how?) but ViewStudent didn't work.

Please help me to find a solution. Lanschool is an excellent tool for my teaching.

Stephan,
This could be a communication problem in the network client. There is a new
Novell client for Windows* 98, version 3.1. I have had success with other
customers that have downloaded that new client version to solve a teacher
broadcast issue... (the teacher PC was hanging or rebooting when broadcasting).
Install the new client on all machines runnning Windows* 98.

I have installed the client 3.1 with Zenworks however still can't view students and
still crashes at different spots ..... Getting an error message for MACXW4.DRV
any ideas??

Hello
Which Novell client are you using? Have you tried the new 5.5 Beta. This new Version does work better on the newer clients and software.
