win-amp visualization

Hello there.

I've used win-amp for music and their visualisation plug ins, especialty the Geiss plug in.
I have an extremely fast computer and the visualisation was perfect, brilliant colors and very fast.
After installing Indeo Video codec5.1 and DirectX7 the visualisation is slow and dark, not bright, let go brilliant.
Could you explain this or do I have to go to the WinAmp site?
I have been there but can't find an answer.
My system:
Diamont Viper 550
Miro DC10+
256 Mb Ram
Pentium 3 500Mhz
17 Gb disc

have the latest DirectX* driver installed for your video graphics hardware. Video card manufacturers often make their
latest drivers available on their web site.
