network adapter on ISP 1100

Hello,
I have recently ordered two ISP 1100's. Unfortunately my customer needs another NIC in addition to the two integrated into the motherboard. We had contacted Intel Technical support with no help. I want to know if this has been tried before in the ISP 1100. I have installed into the system a NIC with the same chipset as those on the motherboard (82559)Intel Pro/100+ Server Adapter. It seems that there shouldn't be a problem with it if everything matches. All I want is to be sure before I go on wasting a customers valuable time. I would appreciate any information that you could follow up with. Thanks you for your time.
