I need to read data from flash at a 100 ns rate. Can I just leave OE and CE active all the time and just update the address and sample the read data every 100ns? The datasheet doesn't indicate this would be a problem but I would like confirmation.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Intel Technical Support. As long as you wait
longer than tAVQV (Address to Output Delay) as specified in the Flash
component datasheet, you can hold OE# and CE# low and put a new address on
the address pins. After this period, valid data will be present on the data
bus. The device data sheet is downloadable from the web at
http://developer.intel.com/design/flash/datashts/index.htm
