Cannot See NetPort XL in Manger Program on NT 4 Wrkstn

I am running Windows NT 4.0 Workstation (Spack 5) and have installed the Netport Manager 5.41a. I only have NetBeui installed but cannot see my NetPort XL in the manager program. There is a orange light on the NetPort and a green link light on the hub.
Any ideas?

I've have the same problem as well. This has happened to me before and I
have managed to get it working. There was something in the intel support
pages about it ages ago but I can't seem to find it.I tried to talk to
someone at intel but they gave me the standard response 'we don't support
that product anymore'. If you get it to work let me know. I'm still trying
to look and see if I wrote anything down about it... I'll let you know if I
find anything.

I also have the same problem as well with our Windows NT 4.0 Server. When I was resetting the NetPort XL to his factory default with our old server, running Windows NT 3.51, I was able to see the NetPortXL in the Manager Progam. When I was transporting the RBL
to the NetPort XL, the NetPort XL accept it and the light become steady green. When I close the Manager Program and restarted, the Manager Program was unable to find the NetportXL again, in spite of the steady green light on the Netport XL. There are some moments that the Manager Program find the Netport XL again and then I can configure the TCP/IP adresses, but had the moment I want to add a printer to one of the TCP/IP adresses, the server was unable to find the Netport XL again. If you get it to work let me know. I'll let you know if I find anything.
