LanDesk 3.10.1.311 from 1/98 delivery

I've got this "old" version and it's been running on my PII-266 for nearly 3-years now. Recently I'm getting a boot-up error that the LDCMCI is causing a page fault in DMIAPI32.DLL and I don't know what to do. Please advise. What IS the real value of this product and should I attempt to fix it or delete it entirely from my system? How should I do it?
