Hi,
if I want to update the Datamart-Database with dmutility.exe(6.45.7.1) (and with account sa and the right password and the right ODBC Data Source), I get the Message, that the dmutility cannot connect to the database (NT-Server 4.0/SP6a/Mdac2.5/SQL-Server 7/SP2).
Follow Message Event-Viewer:
The description for event ID (2) in Source (Intel Datamart Dienstprogramm) could not be found. It contains the following insertion string(s).
Can you help me?

ok we have discussed your problem by phone already but for the newsgroup the
solution as well:
Check your ODBC and System-DSN: change DB language to english and deactivate
all conversions.
LDMS is sometimes "very delicate" with non-english languages ;-)
