I want to configure my 8100FR router so as one server on the LAN net
was accesible from outside (ie Internet access). My LAN has the
192.168.1.0 IP
The router is connected to WAN through a public IP with a mask
255.255.255.252
Reading the docs I found out that I should add an entry in NAT setup
to the WAN link and so I did. But I cannot acces my server from
outside.
TraceRoute traces up to the external IP of my WAN link. I cannot get
through any further. I did read help and help files from the intel www
site.
What entries should there be for the WAN nad LAN links (Menu:IP Setup/
Static route):
I for one have
WAN :
- default
- 192.168.1.0 - adress of my LAN net
LAN:
- none
NAT Setup (IP Setup NAT table):
WAN:
Network to Single IP 192.168.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0 and
External IP
Static 192.168.1.101 mask 255.255.255.255 <External IP
from the Subset given by ISP>
LAN:
Static 192.168.1.101 mask 255.255.255.255 <External IP
from the Subset given by ISP>
I would be grateful for every hint.
