Only one small problem... there is no Teaming tab in the device
manager properties dialog for either card. I get the following tabs:
Power Management
Boot Agent
Driver (version 9.6.31.0)
Details
Resources
General
Link Speed
Advanced (no mention of teaming here either)
But no teaming. The readme that came with the drivers says Teaming can
vanish like this if you're running Intel AMT, but as far as I can tell
I'm not (how to be sure?). There's certainly no sign of AMT in the
BIOS screens, nothing in programs and features, and no AMT splash
screen.
The machine is an HP xw4400 workstation.
I've read Intel docs until I'm blue in the face, but they all assume
It Just Works, and it's blatantly not doing so.
Can anyone advise ?

Stupid Google linked me to an old version of the software. Once I
manually navigated through the downloadcenter and got something more
up to date, it included the ANS and teaming now works fine.
The Intel website's a bit incomprehensibly byzantine and vast though.

I am having the same problem. Can you tell me what download you
used. I installed what I thought was correct and I have an intel/ans
folder but when I go to Device Manager I only see my two nic's and
when going to nic properties I do not even see the tabs you mentioned
above. I only see general - drivers - details - resources. I
downloaded pro2kxp_v13_1_2.exe. Any help would be appreciated. I'm
completely confused. The only thing the install of this file seemed
to do was update the drivers.
