Hi,

I have a customer which buys the PRO/100+ Dual Port Server Adapter.
This NIC goes into a closed special purpose machine made of many parts.
The customer needs to make the product items portfolio with exact part
numbers etc...

He pointed me to the Network Adapter & Driver Identification Guide
(http://support.intel.com/support/network/adapter/21397.htm) mentioning
out that the Board ID Number (PWA) written there doesn't match with the
number on the NICs I have provided him.
The Board ID Number (PWA) on the NICs I have is 711269-003.
The board ID on the web is 714303-xxx.

I know it's sounds cumbersome but technically he is correct.

I need some sort of answer to satisfy the end user.

Thanks,

TM.

Thank you for your post.

The part number that he shows is correct. We are in the process of
updating the Web Site. Try again in a couple of days.
