I am using Windows For Workgroups 3.11. The instructions for loading
the EtherExpress driver were confusing.
As of now I have a computer that I would like to connect
to a Windows NT 4.0 network. The machine is a Dell 33mhz computer
with WFW on it. I downloaded the edisk16.exe file to a
floppy disk. Do I copy this file to the hard drive of the
computer? What directory do I place the file in? Is it the
WFW directory? I went into the Network option to select the
network card that I have from the list which is the EtherExpress
8/16 Network card. The Driver is the Intel Exther Express 16
/16T. I need to load the dos driver so that when the computer
starts the driver will automatically load before I go into WFW.
Could you please give me some clear steps on how to
load the Dos Drivers for this classic network card.
I know how to connect the network software wise.
When I ran the softset to test the network card the machine froze.
Help!!! Thanks.

Hi Terry,
Sorry that I don't have an answer for your problem because I have the same unsolved.
May I ask you if you could get an answer so far from other folks ?
I'm very interested in a "recipe" how to connect my old DX2-66 with WfW 3.1
via Ethernet to another DX2-66 running on WIN98.
On both computers I use the INTEL EthetExpress 16 and connect with BNC-cable.
Please send me an Email to above address if you succeeded in building up a
peer-to-peer network.
Thanks,
Rainer
