Hi,
I'm thinking about getting a new motherboard, processor, graphics card
and modem for xmas. I don't have any zip-drives or back-up media.

Last time I re-installed Windows I put all my zipfiles on partition D:\,
formatted C:\ from DOS, reinstalled Windows, and then reinstalled all my
software from the zipfiles.

Can I do this when I change my mobo and processor?
All I need to do is go into the the new Bios seetings and put in the
same hard drive parameters as were in the old one, right? Then when I
re-install Windows, the OS will be able to find the zipfiles?

Could anyone confirm that this is correct please.

Cheers.
Phil.
