After POST I am getting the message

Event log messages, enter Setup to view

on my screen. I've been all over the Setup program (every option from each menu), and cannot find how to view the "Event log messages". Is there actually an "Event Log", and can it be viewed? How?

The system beeps once right after the message is displayed, then after several seconds the system eventually boots Window 98 from my boot diskette. Is there some error that is happinging, or is this message bogus?

My BIOS is 4S4EB0X1.86A.011.P04, and I am running with a Pentuim II 333MHz processor.

Chris,
Yes, you can view the errors by going into system bios choosing 'Advanced', then 'DMI Event Logging'. The option to choose is View Event Logging which is highlighted once your in that area. From there you can also Clear error messages as well as turn off the error logging.
I would also suggest you upgrade to the latest bios version which you can obtain from this site:

Hope this helps.
