Drive manufacture insist that the drive we are using is supporting
start and stop command.
Is there any problem to support SCSI stop command after
idle time out exactly as it is done on IDE controller?

Dear Andrew:
This one is difficult for us to answer. It may be better to bounce this
off the drive manufacturer, it would surprise me however if it did not.

You need to install EZ-SCSI 4.x. The SCSI software has to support IDE power
down, as Win95 doesn't by itself.

Sorry, should read: "The SCSI software ahs to support SCSI power down..."
BTW the win NT5 build 174X works fine with IDE and SCSI
as far as power management is concern.
