I'm running XP pro on a Intel L440GX+ motherboard with dual PIII 500MHz
CPUs. I have two Seagate ST39236LC drives off of Bus A. SCSI ID 0 is
the boot disk (C:) and SCSI ID 1 is drive E: I also have a Seagate
ST34371N drive hanging off an Adaptec AHA-2940U/W (AIC-7880) (G:). The
system boots fine. When I open explorer (which defaults onto the C drive
into Start Menu) it displays fine. Click on G: and it comes up fine
(fast). Click on E: and it takes minutes to display the contents of the
drive. What is going on? Any ideas?
