Hi,

I was given an old Advent Piii, tower pc that I want to upgrade.

How do I find out what CPU to get for it?

And the CPU is 1000/256/133 1.7v
3101A219 - 0299 - SL4C8.

What is the uprated version of this?

MS - 6315 is the MSI 815EMT Pro. Not a bad PIII board.

Looks like the best CPU you can fit is the 1.13GHz Tualatin PIII (probably
any Tualatin cored PIII with 256Kb L2 cache will work ok).

You need the manual to tell you what the board will accept. It may
also be on line.
