Differences between different mobile PIII cores ?

Hello,

I want to upgrade my laptop (Nec versa VXi, 440MX chipset) from a PIII
500 (Sspec number SL43P) to a PIII 750 in micro-PGA2 package type.
From what i've seen in intel web site, there are several Sspec for
this couple CPU/package that are SL44T, SL4K2 and SL53P. When looking
at processor spec finder results, only core stepping are different.

What are the differences between these core stepping and how could it
influence my upgrade project ?
