I am looking for a possible replacement or an upgrade for a socket 370
compatible processor. I'm looking for the fastest thing I can put in it but
don't know much about motherboards or processors. I'd prefer something other
than celeron but will settle for it if I have to just to fix my computer.

I *think* the fastest socket 370 chip is the PIII 1.4GHz with 512kb L2
cache, equivalent to 1.7GHz willamette P4 lol.
That is if your motherboard supports it.
