Is the Pentium II considered as a 32-bit processor or 64-bit processor

It is a 32 bit processor, even though it is sitting on a 64 bit bus to
memory, that is just to help allieviate bottlenecks.

I think I remember it being Intel put it on a 64 Bit bus to help
speed up Memory Functions, they did this on the Pentiums.

It's actually a dual pipelined 32-bit processor, _that's_ why it need a 64-bit "memory-lane"

Hi,

The Pentium(R) II processor is considered a 32-bit processor.

It's much more complex than saying "it's a dual pipelined processor".
For a detailed look at the various pipelines in each functional unit
within the Pentium(R) II processor, I recommend that you look to the
Pentium II Processor Developer's Manual
