I have a Super P6DBE motherboard with 2 Pentium III 500 Mhz cpu w/512 cache. I am unfamiliar with the various types of Pentium IIIs. I know that I need to get a PIII that is compatible with the 100Mhz bus but what is the difference between SECC2, PGA and FCPGA2 flavors

My guess is that's a 440BX-based board, that said you'll probably need the SECC2 CPU if you don't want to deal with slot to socket adapters. That sounds like the exact same P3 in my box, Katmai P3 with the L2 cache running at 1/2 processor speed.
