Access and Intel Celeron lock-up

Has anyone encountered the following problem, and/or does anyone have a
solution:

When running ms access (with vb front-end) for at least 3 hours on an Intel
Celeron processor, windows (NT 4.0 SP6) will lock-up and a cold boot is
required. This has happened on at least 10 different machines so far.
Running the same code on another processor does not have the same affect.
All other programs are affected (not just our program) e.g. MS Word, Access
etc
