I sent this days ago, and it did not make it through. Here it is again:

I think Intel's latest as campaign is terrible.
Who are you trying to appeal to? Certainly not your average
power-computer user. The uninformative and puerile 'fireworks' of
dancing people makes intel look unserious. Your commercials look like
they were designed for disneyland. Most people I asked thought that the
ad campaign was uninformative, at least for an ad about powerful
technology, and obviously aimed at the wrong kinds of people.
What were you thinking? The ads make your average computer user feel
like he's an idiot who's going to fall for all this superficial emptiness
the ad displays.

Take heart, the average non-computer user doesn't get it either. The other
day I had a customer come into the office wanting to buy one of the new
Pentium II palm top computers they saw the night before in an Intel
advertisement.

Just ask any non-computer user friends or associates if they saw the Intel
add? Most will ask you what you are talking about, then ask them about the
tv add with the idiots in the funny space suits dancing in the streets of
New York. They will remember seeing this, but most won't be able to tell
you what the ad was selling. The few who do will say Intel something or
other.

Best Regards
