Intel's Future plans???

What does Intel intend to do about AMD Athelon? Mainstreem america knows about P!!! right now and most people will buy P!!!'s, but word will get out eventually that Athelon is simply faster and better, and intel will be in some hot water!!! and AMD goes on the attack tonight with some TV comercials :(

What does intel plan to do about this??? If intel stock goes down I don't know how I am going to pay my tuition :(
