eBay item number:355824721249 is an auction for the two boards mentioned in the title of this message. The starting price (1 bid so far) is $45 for both items.

Roger:
The CDC FM Floppy Controller may be of interest to you. If you get it and need code for the Channel board, I can probably provide some dumps.

The same seller also has a 'CONTROLLER' board with an 8080 CPU PWA 1001355-12R which may be part of an ICE. The price of this board is also $45.

Craig:
The 'controller' has a pair of C2113s.

Both of these auctions end on Sunday.

Regards

Jon

Thank you Jon, I saw that auction.  Too bad the channel board got separated.  I've heard the channel board is the same for SD and DD but different code.

Thanks Jon, I will look at them.

Interesting that the controller has 2113s.  So that is three products that used the 2113: prompt 48, 80-20, and this controller board.  I need to write that down somewhere that future me can find.

It looks like there is a jumper for 2113L on one side or 2114 on other side and remove for 2113H.  I agree with you, I think the 1001355 is an ICE-85 controller.

Regards
Craig

Off hand, it looks like the controller board would make a nice little 8080 single board computer.   Indeed, it can use 2114s.  I presume it uses the entire 2114 or the jumper settings wouldn’t make sense.

It’s definitely an ICE-85 Controller:

ICE-85 Components

The following items are included in the ICE-85 package.

• ICE-85 Control board (PN 1001355): A circuit board that plugs into the Intellec

chassis. The Control board contains the emulation controls, address map,

timer, and internal clock.

• ICE-85 Trace board (PN 1001191): A circuit board that plugs into the Intellec

chassis. It contains the breakpoint registers, trace memory, and qualifier

registers for controlling trace data collection.

It looks like a very old revision though as the firmware roms appear to be soldered in.

If no one else wants it I may bid on it as the one I currently have seems to be developing a fault.

Martyn.
