Hi All

As you may be aware, a number of Intel Multibus 1 PCBs were recently offered to a UK museum. The museum selected a number of PCBs but decided that the Intel items already in the collection are representative. It was considered unnecessary to add to the Intel MDS collection.

As a means to keep the boards, etc. in the possession of those with interest in Intel's systems, I have agreed to help the owner find buyers, offering the boards initially to members of Intel-Devsys. The remaining boards, etc. will then be offered via eBay.co.uk, (permitting bids from outside UK as well as UK). I'll receive a commission, with the rest going to the owner.

I am inviting offers between Monday 20 April 2026 and Sunday 17th May 2026. Offers must (*only*) be communicated to jonh...@gmail.com to maintain confidentiality. Offers will be accepted or rejected at the closing date (midnight in UK on Sunday 17 May).

Insured shipping costs are additional to the offered amount. Shipping in UK will be by Royal Mail Tracked 48 (for items with a value up to £75) and by Special Delivery Next Day before 1.00pm (for items with a value between £76 and £750). The cost of shipping to other countries will be dependent on the package size, weight and insured value. Fees that apply on arrival in other countries are the responsibility of the buyer.

The original Intel boards are listed in a spreadsheet (attached as a CSV file) and are shown in photos of component and solder sides of boards. The details recorded include:
- Intel's description of the board
- Intel's PWA Number for the component side of the PCB (where available)
- Serial number (where available)
- Revision number (where available)
- Comments (based on text, etc. visible in the photos)
- Order number of the Hardware Reference Manual (HRM) (if a PDF file is available for download)
- Intel ID of schematic drawings (if a PDF file is available for download, usually in HRM)
- Availability of firmware (where known) for boards with empty EPROM sockets.

In addition to the original Intel Multibus 1 PCBs, other items include:

- non-Intel Multibus 1 boards (whose function may be undocumented)
- Multibus 1 prototype boards, some of which are populated
- MultiModule PCBs (there is one iSBC-218, one serial MultiModule and seven 'Arithmetic processor' 8231/8232 MultiModules)
- Two four-slot Multibus 1 card cages,
- One four-slot Multibus 1 backplane.
- NOS/New Intel 8255A DIP40 ICs (offers for one or more are allowed, 50 available)
- NOS/New Intel P5C090-50 DIP40 CPLDs (offers for one or more are allowed, 25 available).

Note: All items are offered as 'sold as seen' / 'untested' / 'no returns accepted'.

A link to the photos on Jon's Google Drive will be provided on request – to the personal email address of the person requesting the link (NOT via Intel-Devsys).

Best regards

Jon (Jon Hales 20 April 2026)
