Candlelight Vigil in Union Square on Sunday for lesbian shooting victims

We have gotten word of a candlelight vigil to be held Sunday at 8:15
p.m. in Union Square for the young lesbian couple who were shot in
Texas in Friday. One of the young women died, the other is in critical
condition.

It would be wonderful to have an Episcopal presence, especially
clergy, at this event if possible. The organizers are encouraging
young people to attend and emotions are likely to be running high. If
we are able to provide a pastoral presence, I think it would be
helpful.
