St. Anna's Episcopal Church is currently inviting
parishioners and friends of the church as well as community partners to
start our urgently needed response to the flood families in Louisiana.
Basically our response is three stages that overlap. One, get "toiletry
bags" to families in need we are identifying sites in Baton Rouge and
Denim Springs. We want to keep these bags flowing in for the next two
weeks. At the same time think about volunteering for mucking and gutting
which may start next week. If interested contact the church via email
or simply call. If you have a group that is great. Next week we will
start asking for recovery tools. Watch out for out next post! Other
things that are needed are cash donations and gift cards. All donations
will go directly to those in need. So lets get started with making up
the following items. We want to deliver at least 100 bags
Saturday. More later on recovery and restoration. OUR CONTACT INFORMATION IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS E-MAIL
