Many of my students have asked for it so I'm providing my simple
"Niche Me Please" formula to
help you create your powerful elevator speech so you're ready to
attract new clients. Here goes:
We're breaking the process down into THREE steps.
1- Hi, my name is _____________ and I'm a __________________________
In here you must tell your prospect what you are!
Here are some examples: I'm a nutrition coach / I'm a nutrition
counselor / I'm a holistic health coach/
I'm a transformational health
counselor / I'm a spiritual health coach /
I'm a holistic business coach /
I'm a sports nutrition coach / YOU GET IT
2- I work with or I empower or I support or I provide....(choose what
sounds right for you)
Here's my health niche: "I'm a transformational health counselor.
2a - Now you must describe your ideal client: Use adjectives here
such as "women who struggle with hormone balancing " "men who need to
lose 30 or more pounds" "children with behavior problems" ... etc.
Are you working with women, men, children or maybe adults ?
Now what are their characteristics?
Are they between the ages of let's say 30 to 60?
Are they single women whose children have grown up and left the house?
Are they empty nesters?
Are they people who've experienced the loss of a spouse?
Are they women who are addicted to sugar?
Here's mine: "I work with women who struggle with eating disorders,
addictive behaviors and chronic health issues."
Again, choose the type of person (women, men, children, people) and
then explain the struggle they're experiencing.
3- Now you must tell them what you provide them with. Not
features...focus on benefits.
Here's an example: " I help my clients to make healthy deliscious food
choices, increase energy and lose weight naturally!"
"I help my clients to health their unhealthy relationship with food so
that they can eat without guilt or shame and start enjoying life
again!"
Here's mine: I empower my clients move beyond perceived limitations
to find balance, peace of mind and freedom from whatever their
struggles are with food and addictions.
Use the space provided to try this out yourself.
Cheers!
To Your Success,
MaryJo
