I was finally able to get on to Google Groups! YEAH!
I have a question about my new company name. I figure out the name,
called the secretary of state who told me the name is available and
now I'm trying to figure out if my 5 word name should include Holistic
Health Coaching at the end, or if I should just put the company name
on the DBA form. Since health coaching IS what I'm offering, I'm not
sure if it should be part of the official name.
Thoughts?!

Hi Sara,
Put "holistic health coaching" in your keywords for the website.
What is your business name going to be?  It's up to you how you want
to list it on the state forms.  I don't know how people search in that form.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

Hey!

I’ve been debating back and forth between registering as a sole
proprietorship vs a LLC. I’m not sure which route would be wiser
considering the niche I’ve talked about and the fact I will be seeing
clients in both NJ and NY. What do you think?

Now I'm getting nervous that my business name is taken. That would
definitly make me sad :(

First, see if your domain name and business name are available.

The advantage of an LLC is that it is better for you in the event that
you get sued. I've not had any problems but I am now forming an
LLC as I expand.

Decide which one you are most comfy with but keep in mind that
you can begin seeing clients before the paperwork is complete:-)
