Job Title: Java Front-End Developer with GWT/GXT Experience
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 12 month+

Job Description:

5-10 years

Role & Responsibilities:

We are looking for highly energetic and involved engineer who can work on user interface design and implementation. The candidate will be involved in feature conceptualisation and delivery.

• Provide feedback on proposed feature and design and take the requirements to implement and deliver web application features.
• Design, mock up and implement new application user interfaces.
• Collaborate with project team members and cross-functional product teams to deliver feature requirements.
• Participate in the design, conceptualization and implementation of a web application through the full product development life cycles..

Skill Set:

Must Haves: Java, HTML5, and CSS, implementing/consuming REST or SOAP web service
Nice to have: OOJS, sencha ExtJS, GXT/GWT
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Strong programming skills, as well as the ability to read and code review complex code bases written by others.

Qualifications (Education, Certification, Training, Experience)

• Technical graduate or post graduate degree or equivalent in computer science is required.
• 5-7 years of relevant web programming experience including CSS, Java, Java script, AJAX and HTML and/or HTML5.
• Working experience in object oriented programming, object modeling and complex multilayer web applications.
• Experience in GXT/GWT, Spring, object oriented JavaScript, JS libraries like Sencha Ext JS, is a plus.
• Experience on developing web designs that work on devices and browsers is needed.
• Proficiency in software development, programming concepts/fundamentals, development patterns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience integrating with REST style web services
