IDHCC Monthly meeting this Thursday January 26, 2023 9 AM-11:30 AM

The International District Healthy Communities Coalition believes that health begins where we live, learn, work, play, and love.

Good morning sunshine’s. Join us at our monthly meeting. This is the first meeting of the new year and we would like to make it special with a hybrid of in-person meeting and zoom. The meeting will be held at Casa Feliz Community Room located on the corner at 443 Espanola St SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. We would like to thank David Pool in advance for arranging use of this great space.

This month our agenda as follows:

· Valerie Hermanson AICP, Public Works Strategic Program Manager for the City of Albuquerque, leading the City's Vision Zero program to combat pedestrian deaths and reimagine transit systems to make our roads safer for all users. Louisiana upgrade update.

· Sky sharing this year’s budget for IDHCC programs and projects

· Sky, Nancy & Monique to give updates on Whitter Food Hub and vaccine clinic. Come check it out and tour during Food hub hours. Flier attached.

· Tree NM Tree care classes at our new Library. Flier attached

· T4B organizers for the Albuquerque’s Bus Riders Union (ABRU). Next month is Rosa Parks Birthday and Transit Equity Day in Albuquerque. We are joining T4B in planning the public event for February 4, 2022 12-2 at the Alvarado Transit Station, press conference, art making, voter registration and giveaways for our public transit riders, all free.
