6,000 dmel interactions gone - UniProt accessions updated?

Hello devs!

I am missing lots of interactions involving Drosophila melonogaster.
Specifically FlyMine 26.0 (flymine.org) has 166347 interactions which
come from IntAct's November PSI XML files. However I've just rebuilt
our database for FlyMine 27.0 using the files from December and now I
only have 159743 interactions.

In the new files, there are hundreds of (new) instances of "uniprot-
removed-ac", meaning the protein has been deleted by UniProt. I'm
guessing that's my problem?

For example, all 14 of rhino's interactions have been removed as
Q9V855 is an obsolete accession. However, in 2006, UniProt changed
rhino to Q7JXA8 instead of Q9V855. Are there plans to update the
accessions to the current ones? Is that even possible?

Can you help me?
