With profound grief and sorrow I regret to inform you that one of our surveyor collegue Umesh Chandra Pattnaik, from Berhampur, Odisha passes away today early morning. He was being treated at a hospital at Vizag, Andra Pradesh. He was ailing for quite some time and was being treated for mouth cancer. His IIISLA membeship no. is F/E/01778 and SLA no.-is 21386. He was a practising surveyor since last twenty years. I personnaly lost a good friend. He was also a IIISLA Odisha chapter council member. May his soul rest in peace and may God give strength to his family members to bear this loss.
