Dear All

Mr R. K. Elango has already lost his credentials.  This is good that he has realized it himself and decided to hand over IIISLA to someone else.

It could have been better if Mr R. K. Elango along with his team have resigned giving way to fresh elections for all the twelve seats.  In the meantime some Administrator would have been appointed to facilitate the election all over India strictly as per rules prescribed, that too after getting the voters’ list updated and new members enrolment.

If this news is correct, we can advise the Administrator to hold election at all levels after giving proper time and after new members are enrolled.  If we do not go for enrolment in masses, we will not be able to change the scenario.   Some difference face of Mr R. K. Elango will come as President and repeat the things.

Dear All

I confirm that similar information is revealed to me also by the attendees of Seminar at Jim Corbette Park and Mr Alind Kumar and aggressive objections have been made by Mr Alind and even Mr P C Shukla and I congratulate both on their stand and others who have objected to Mr Elango on the issue.

I may also reveal one more fact that has come to my knowledge that this proposal of appointing Mr Prabodh Chander came to council meeting at Hyderabad in Last December on proposal of Mr Elango. But the council rejected the proposal and it stretched to the extent of voting and it was rejected on majority votes. I would request that council members who attended the Hyderabad Meeting may please correct me if my information is wrong. I have also come to know that this meeting was audio recorded and if this correct than audio footing of the same should also be verified. Now the question comes that how and why the issue came up again and Mr Elango even consented for this appointment and has it been done with or without the consent of the council. Was it that the vested interest attempted again to get the approval of council to get a majority after retirement of four persons.

There is no transparency. Can IIISLA afford such an appointment? His salary and expenses are going to cost IIISLA to the tune of several lac per year with no benefit and vulnerability of loss in many ways.

But it is very fishy that it is now more than 36 hours that issue of Amendment in AOA has come on the board and it is being talked to the council members even before, but none of the council member is willing to deny this revealing. Does it not reflect that there is something fishy behind. To the best of my information, a letter has been given under the sigature of Mr Elango, Mr. Ashok and Mr Rakesh Soni to legitimize that the issue is consent of council and AGM. Let these three members/office bearers speak the truth or deny these things. Surveyors should also speak on the silence of council members and decide of the remedial actions.

I will request that young brigade which raised lot of hopes while electing the current new council members and also their election of office bearers should come open on the issue.

regards

Subject: Mr. Prabodh Chander (Ex-IRDA) as IIISLA Administrator....?

Dear Hon'ble President and office bearers and council members of IIISLA,

Recently, at Jim Corbett Park seminar, Mr. RK Elango, our IIISLA President, made an announcement that Mr. Prabodh Chander, ex. Exe. Director, IRDA, has been appointed as the Administrator of IIISLA.    Several senior surveyors have raised objections on this in private circles.   And some of them have reportedly confronted & sought explanation from Mr. RK Elango at Jim Crobett Park itself.

And most of the council members have informed various callers that no such decision has been taken by the council members inspite of the open announcement made by the president before of the participants of seminar.

Mr. Alind Kumar, a senior surveyor from Jaipur, has raised this topic under different head on the group message boards just yesterday and I reproduce below an extract from what he has written in his message:

Quote -  Any Building without foundation cannot sustain tectonic reactions. We are also living in such building.  Urgently we need a proper office and that too HEAD OFFICE, no need of developing zonal / chapter office building at this very infant stage - Target One should be HO with sprawling area, sufficient to cater needs of Administrative Block, Academy etc. with PRUDENT ADMINISTRATOR. Why we are looking for one whom earlier council has disapproved. Why we are looking for an insurance officer? Is it so that only an insurance / irda officer will control us? Let us search out Good Bureaucrat &/or Surveyor willing to sacrifice his career - certainly on remuneration basis. How a person who has done damage to our profession earlier, will be loyal this time. Oasis is good at distance but when we reach, it is just an Oasis. - Unquote

This is yet another indication that something drastic is happening within IIISLA and behind veils of secrecy.   And our council members refuse to share the info with us.   They refuse to confirm or deny the news or information inspite of clear evidences available.

Council members should atleast now come out with the factual information and the members are entitled to know.

With best regards,

S. Anoop Kumar.

Dear friends

In my opinion under no circumstances any outsiders should take over as administrator, who will not have ant interest for the betterment of the surveyor community .It will be only time pass for him on a huge cost to us.
I sincerely urge our senior brothers to come forward and take note of the situation.
If it is true news than this is the right time to come forward and go for an early election at all levels.
As our fellow surveyor has rightly said we should go for mass enrollment and increase the number of members.

With warm regards
