Dear Mr. RK Elango,

 

We are also interested in knowing the truth.  Plain truth.  Please share the info with us on various issues which have been raised by the members from time to time on the group message boards, including some ex-council members, some even are serious allegations in nature as to financial mismanagement & impropriety, passing of certain highly objectionable resolutions in Yercaud EGM held last year, etc. 

 

Now we get to understand that you have been suspended from IIISLA membership and we would like to know if it is only a rumour or if there is an element of truth in it.   We would like to know the facts from you.  The real facts.   Straight from the horse's mouth and the first hand version.   During the last AGM held at Hyderabad one serious topic that was discussed was Rs. 4.00 lakhs of IIISLA funds transferred to your personal account without the knowledge of the other council members and the council members present on dais have accepted that in no uncertain terms.  There was a demand from the general body as what action has been initiated against you for the financial impropriety committed by you.  

 

Please sir, we the members of IIISLA, request you share the facts with us and also how the Rs. 4.00 lakhs was spent by you.  Will you please share with us the statement of accounts with the supporting vouchers or bills?  For the members of the general body were not convinced with the explanation given by the then office bearers who stated that the majority of the payments shown were made in cash payments from you. 

 

Your strong supporters from Tamilnadu have also attended the EGM & AGM and we, the Hyderabad surveyors, have received them with all the respect & courtesies they deserved as members of IIISLA.  We did not frisk them, we did not take away their cell phones, we did not take away their cameras, we did not shout them down when they wanted to speak or express their opinions.   And they also understood the role of Hyderabad surveyors who stood by the issues and not by the persons.   Some of the TN members came and met me personally and I was too happy to meet them and exchange a few words with them though I met them for the very first time.

Dear Mr. Anoop Kumar,

Not only this 4.00 Lacs.  He was to have given the  account statements of 2008-2009 on                Rs. 2.33,600.00  of the Chennai Training Program, on which the auditors had passed notes, after auditing the accounts.

Mr. Elango should also clarify as to what is the truth about the news he spread in Kerala to win their support some time back, about the clandestine interests of Anoop Kumar and Tim Ashraff, which the surveyors in Kerala now realise was hoax by Elango

Dear Mr Elango,

If you want proof of your misdeeds, please see attached file to this mail.  It is a complaint made against you to all the council members - including yourself while you were President - there are a few more additions to what are already contained in the letter, like;

1. You failed to hand over the charge IIISLA accounts and record to the successor council / office bearers.

2. You have gate crashed and disturbed a central council meeting held much later to your completion of tenure as council member.

3. You have impersonated as President, IIISLA and attended / tried to attend an 'Insurance Advisory Committee' meeting convened by IRDA, much later to your tenure in the central council of IIISLA.

4. You continued to use an email created by you as president of IIISLA, and did not bother to surrender the same to the successor.

Please recall all the above and introspect how correct you were and you are.  The complaint made against you, as in the attached file has gone unanswered, though it was marked to you and reminded.

In absence of satisfactory explanation from your side, it is obvious that you have misused your position in IIISLA, and behaved unethically, irresponsibly in discharging the responsibilities attached to the position you held in IIISLA. 

Atleast now come out clean, and for god sake stop being authoritative.  There are no subordinates to you in this profession.

What is the fact. Kindly bring the fact  on the ground and let the Surveyor of India know the correct situation. Although your colleagues in IIISLA  council, most of them claim that  they have not committed any mistake, They has fought for the betterment of Surveyor, They wil come out with FACTS, Those facts  has not come up till now..

I am sure,you and your attitude do not  comes under such class.

So open the fact, name the persons Who all have given wrong information, Which brought you to such odd situation.

Are the Tamilnadu surveyors reading this discussion and taking note of the serious allegations made against the ex-council member and also the office bearer for his severe misconduct and financial impropriety committed by him?  The allegations are made by one of the then sitting council member.  No less. 

I am surprised that why no criminal complaint was lodged against the ex-council member and also the office bearer by the other council members which makes us believe that all were aware of the loot but kept quite.  What do we make of this & whose money is it anyway?

As we get to understand that the accounts submitted to make up for money withdrawn to the extent of Rs. 4.00 lakhs was showing more of cash payments made.  No TDS was deducted at source while making the payment.  This in itself would put IIISLA into serious trouble with IT department.  And if the payment is made towards any services rendered by any advocate to a business entity (meaning includes body of individuals or company or firm)  towards representational services before any court, tribunal or authority, then the service provider or receiver should have remitted the service tax to the govt. treasury.   A simple petition to service tax vigilance and enforcement wing would open up the can of worms.  

Have we elected such persons and are we going to elect any person/s who are supported by such personalities?  Are we to trust such persons again and again like the sheep trusts the butcher who is sure to kill the sheep?  Tamilnadu surveyors should atleast now understand who they are dealing with.

Here in Salem and Namakkal Area, one contestant for the Tamil Nadu chapter said to have gone to the premises of the Courier office and collected all the Ballots. This is more like plundering. How do we allow such nonsense to occur? Please think whether such type of persons could be allowed in the chapter or zone. Kindly send your opinions on this. The election officer should make a note of this and then debar such persons from becoming the contestant in elections of unit, chapter, zone & Central for another five years. There should be discipline in all. Kindly pass on your opinon.
