Survey fee on gross assessed amount - Engg. & Fire departments

Dear Friends,

 

Based on representations received from surveyors, GIPSA has issued following clarifications vide
letter No. RK/SurveyFee/46/ms/2007 dt 28.08.2008:

`Survey fee in respect of fire and engineering losses should be based on gross assessment without
  any deduction for depreciation, under insurance, salvage value and deductibles etc.'

 

Can any member post the scanned copy of the above GIPSA circular for the info of the members. 

 

Also can we have the link of the website of of GIPSA or the e-mail ID's of any of the GIPSA officials.

Dear brothers,


It is prevailing practice in Pakistan to charge fees on gross assessed
loss in every type of claims. It is logical.
