Query on EEI policy -Tubes/wires/cables damaged due to rat bite.

Respected sir,

I am assigned with a claim preferred under EEI Policy - Medical Equipment - Maglumi Automatic Analyser System, mainly used for harmonal test . In the equipment, (i) Flooding sensor, Tubing ,Starter pump cable, Starter pump sensor, Init sensor  were damaged. There was physical damage due to external means , rat have damaged all the above mentioned parts by biting them.

Special Exclusion to Section I under EEI Policy reads as below: I) loss of or damage to bulbs, valves, tubes, ribbons, fuses, seals, belts, wires, chains, rubber tyres, exchangeable tools, engraved cylinders, objects made of glass, porcelain or ceramics sieves or fabrics, or any operating media (e.g. lubricating oil, fuel, chemicals). 

Regarding exclusion I) bulb, items of ceramics etc  pl see the concluding para after exclusion j) which  read as below:-.       

In respect of the parts mentioned under i) and j) above the Company shall be liable to

provide compensation in the event that such parts are affected by an indemnifiable loss or damage to the insured items. 

Whether the above damaged items .Tubing (67720/-) ,Starter pump cable (5000/-) Amount claimed , shall be treated as excluded item & shall be disallowed , & if it shall be allowed then on what grounds .
