some one from private company was discussing that IMT is not required for passenger carrying capacity up to 6 passengers

Dear Hardeep,

Up to 6 passenger carrying vehicle comes under taxis. IMT 22 will be applied in taxis. 

IMT 22 attached herewith.

This endorsement is also applicable in private cars as well as  three wheeler rated as private cars, all motorized two

wheelers, taxis, private car type vehicle plying for public/private hire, private type taxi let out on private hire.

Dear Hardeep,

Please note, upto 6 passanger and more tan 1500CC vehicles is taxi. More than 1500CC, compulsory deductible will changed as 2000/-. No other changed in IMT endorsement.

The premium @ 15% added only IMT 23 which covered 50% liability for part of IMT 21. In IMT 21, side part of bonnet, bumper fr, head light, tyre and painting.

In taxis [IMT22], these parts already included automatically as usual private car hence no question for 15% extra premium.

I am attaching all endorsements of policy. Please read IMT 21, 22 and 23 and search the answer of your query.

For any problem, you may feel free to discuss.

i simply understand imt as we add 15% in commercial veh like trucks

is this 15% to charge in taxi or not required
