Dear Surveyor brothers,
At last, after a long battle for 5 months after closure by IRDAI and after second fresh application with all documents I have received my renewed license today. I thank all the surveyors who have given valuable inputs through phone and mails.
In my opinion and I hope majority of the surveyors would agree that the process of renewal has been made very cumbersome. They give instructions to download the required form from IRDAI and send the same after filling all the columns. But the form downloaded from IRDAI does not have the particular column. Then with the help of the surveyors who have renewed recently, I got the form and sent the same. IRDAI takes a lot of time for replying to our mail and again and again, they are asking us to send the same information/records. I have even filed a complaint about the delay in the CPGrams (Prime Minister's Complaint cell). IRDAI simply send a mail stating as CLOSED, which means that the application for renewal is rejected without assigning any reason for CLOSURE/REJECTION.
My mail to help desk of IIISLA and the members of the help desk was also not even acknowledged about which I have shared my experience in this forum.
Unless we, the surveyors, collectively take sincere efforts to redress the grievances of the surveyors like me, in renewing the license, I am sorry to state that all the surveyors will be in great difficulty at the time of renewal.
The procedure should be made simple, and it should not take such a long time.
I make an appeal in this forum to give a detailed procedure to be followed with all the required documents and statutory forms that are required for renewing the license so that the members who are approaching IRDAI do not suffer like me in future.
Whether IIISLA will come forward to do something on this issue?
