GREETINGS OF THE DAY!!

It looks like our President is deeply worried about this TRANSITION PERIOD of 2 to 3 months ONLY wherein around 1,000 members licenses are at stake but he NEVER UNDERSTOOD the IMPACT OF NOT IMPLEMENTING OR FAILED TO IMPLEMENT ASAP which has seriously affected all 11,000 to 12,000 Members livelihood   FOR A LIFETIME.

After many rounds of APPEAL to IRDAI by the IIISLA Members FOR EQUAL DISTRIBUTION OF SURVEY JOBS, IRDAI finding the MERIT IN OUR APPEAL has issued the MASTER CIRCULAR and given TIME LIMIT to IIISLA to implement ASAP in FOUR MONTHS.  What our HON. PRESIDENT has done is he NOT ONLY BLOCKED THE VENDOR WHO WAS DOING THE JOB BY CANCELLING B.G, BUT HE MISERABLY FAILED TO IMPLEMENT ASAP ON HIS OWN WHICH CLEARLY SPEAKS ABOUT HIS TRUE COLOUR AND HE IS NOT IN FAVOUR OF ASAP AND NOW THE SAME PERSON SHEDDING CROCODILE TEARS IN FRONT US.  We have been taken for a Ride by this UNHOLY CC MEMBERS TIME AND AGAIN, NOT ONCE....FOR THE LAST THREE DECADES

 Not capable of reading our AOA (Article of Association) and BLOCKING hundreds of  Members in IIISLA Portal, and NOT CAPABLE OF IMPLEMENTING ASAP IN FOUR MONTHS AS DIRECTED BY IRDAI,  now they want travel in air in BUSINESS CLASS along with Mr. Ambani & Mr. Adani, Mr. Amit Shah and Mr. Rahul Gandhi. What a SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS in IIISLA.

As you are well aware that the surveyor licensing system has now been abolished and a new system in the shape of Certificate of Registration (COR) has been introduced. As per the new system, you have to deposit Membership fee to IIISLA and COR fee to IRDAI on yearly basis and continue your practice as a Surveyor/Loss Assessor life long. No additional burden of submitting documents repeatedly from now onwards. So, good bye to licensing system forever. While the IRDAI is in the process of drafting the regulations, implementing the COR, many licences of our fellow brothers and sisters have already expired. You may also be one amongst the affected ones. I'm extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to the affected members. I can feel their pain. Not only they have suffered the financial loss but went through a mental agony. Some of the insurers were not listening to the voice of surveyors though IRDAI issued two circulars. The insurers demanded clear cut guidelines and there was a state of total confusion and chaos during the period. We were in constant touch with the Authority during this ongoing transitional period. We are thankful to the Authority for listening to us and reducing the yearly COR renewal fee from INR 1000 to INR 400 for an Individual Surveyor. But we were more worried for the members who lost their livelihood and became a harried lot due to no solution offered for their expired licences. In a recent meeting held last week with the Surveyor Department at IRDAI, Hyderabad, the matter was taken up on a very serious note. The Authority was made aware that there is an urgent need for clear directives for our members who have lost their jobs. We appreciate that the Authority took note of the entire episode in its totality and has agreed to take necessary steps in this regard. It is quite possible that by the time you shall be reading this message, a resolution of the ongoing issue shall be on air by IRDAI. So please keep a check on the websites of IRDAI & IIISLA today for latest updates. We are very much thankful to you for keeping patience during these tough times. Your calm and ethical behaviour shall bring laurels not only for you but for your institution also. People will surely recognise you with respect. One important point, you may please note that if expiry of your current license falls on or before 30th June, 2026, please apply for the renewal on BAP, IRDAI as usual. This is a temporary arrangement made to facilitate those whose licenses are expired or are expiring on or before 30th June, 2026. In case of any further query please feel free to contact us.
