Insurance Company refusing to pay Survey Fees as per Fees Schedule- Whether IIISAL will come to our rescue

Dear friends,

One Public Sector Insurance Company is refusing to pay Survey Fees for the assessed loss as per the Fees Schedule of GIPSA Circular quoting under insurance and period of insurance. The Company has paid fees calculated on the loss compensated and not on the loss assessed. Whether our IIISLA will come to our rescue.

Greetings of the day!!

It is really saddening to note your concern.

Generally PSU Insurance Companies follow the GIPSA recommended fees.

If you desire, please share the details of the Loss Assessment with detailed workings, but without naming the details of insurance companies, insured, Policy Nos. and other details.  Also please mention the Survey Fees paid after the TDS for my understanding.
