Dear Friends No doubt.we.all should come forward to help Yamini I am depositing cheque of.Rs.5,000 in the account May God bless her with speedy recovery I propose that IIISLA should negotiate with insurance companies for a Group Mediclam insurance policy for all surveyor members and their families Group policies come very cheap and give additional benefits than regular policies We had discussed with insurance companies for Chandigarh surveyors and the companies referred a.Rs 5,00,000 family cover.for.Rs ,8,200 per year per family for group of 100 families and also offered to cover all pre existing diseases and give a corpus of Rs. 20,00,000 for critical illness during the.policy which is available for any member If if negotiate on all India level even better offers shall come because then group shall be longer What happened to Yamini should not happen to any other member or their family but it is always better to be.prepared for any exigency Views from members and positive action is invited Regards Sanjay Gupta SLA 51692 exp 21.6.2015 H No 2243 Sec 38-C, CHANDIGARH

Good idea brother!

 

Accumulation of the fund is an easy job.

But who is going to maintain the funds / accounts?

How / how much we allocate the fund to the users.

Who are going to authorize the affected persons?

How to cross check the genuineness of claim?

We will think about it later.

 

 

 We are in the insurance field. Have to create awareness to our people first.

We encourage our members to take following policies..

 

Medi-claim policy,

Personal accident policy with weekly benefit plan,

LIC – for their son / daughter for study purpose,

LIC – Pension plan,

Insurance for their staffs……

 

Now the IIISLA membership is mandatory to do survey job for all Government insurance companies.

We request IRDA through our leaders for giving a discount on insurance premium like an insurance staff.

Or a portion of the premium will bear by our institute (like a Subsidy).  If we send the policy copy to our IIISLA office, they should scrutiniz and pay the subsidy amount to our member accounts ( or it will adjust our member ship subscripetion payment ).

This is my opinion.

I have taken up this matter with mumbai surveyors. Every possible help, [including blood donation] is being extended to Mr Soni's daughter.Thanks for providing the bank details.

I have one humble suggestion , Why not we all surveyors come together & create a 'Benevolent Fund' by each member contributing say Rs 500/- every year for meeting such emergencies.Considering our strength of 7000 + members we can easily have a corpus of  Rs 35,00,000/- PER YEAR & this could keep multiplying. We can certainly provide financial relief to all the members and their families in case of: death of surveyor, any major medical emergency and /or such contingency. The fund can be in the form of Trust & shall be governed by the members only. Collectively we tackle any eventuality.

I seek the views of our honourable members in this regards.

It is very good and sensible suggestion for the persons who are wholly dependent on SURVEY JOB. Some person  might have earned sufficient, But even though  It has been observed in the society that when you are in distress/ when you are weak/ when you become old (physically), you  are being ignored by society, some times by family.

The plan suggested by Mr. SHIV KUMAR will help you on these  situation. So it should be carried out.

IF POSSIBLE- RS.1/= STAMP on each policy documents should be collected for SURVEYOR FUND, Which will help us. It will make SURVEYOR more protected and FEARLESS( for conducting the job with all +ve energy.)
